Tired of setting up the tables every time you play? With the “Preset” function, you can now save up to 4 of your desired table sizes and locations.

Straddle

Raise the stakes and get the adrenaline flowing with our modified Straddle, or blind bet. At Natural8, any player can blind raise before the hole cards are seen - regardless of table position. Straddles make for bigger pots so you’re always upping the stakes. You’ll also be given the option to go ‘No-Look All-In’ during the Straddle betting round.

How to Straddle

The Texas Hold’em Straddle function is one of Natural8’s fun and innovative features, designed to add more thrills, twists and turns to an already-exciting poker hand. But what does straddle mean in poker?

Traditionally, the Straddle is a bet that can be played by the player immediately to the left of the Big Blind. Usually, a player choosing to straddle can bet double the Big Blind before the hole cards are dealt, so it’s basically a blind raise before the players get their cards. This can lead to some big pots and dramatically alter the outcome of the hand.

At Natural8, we like to go about things a little differently. Now, you can post a straddle bet from any position on the table before the hole cards are dealt. Once the straddle amount is announced, players are given a limited amount of time to post another straddle bet or even go all-in (this is called the “No-Look All-In”).

How to Straddle

Needless to say, games featuring frequent straddle bets are particularly thrilling. The bigger pots add to the tension, and when you win you can win big! You can catch your competition off-guard, and their reaction to your straddle bet can give you a lot of information, like whether they’re following a tight or loose strategy.

It’s a great way to up-the-ante in Texas Hold’em games, and once a straddle is called by one player you’ll get a lot of others wanting to stay in the hand where they otherwise might have folded, adding to the thrill. When the pot gets big, anything can happen! Any big raise can seem fishy, and if you have a monster hand you can completely alter your game.

You can also communicate with other players at your table by sending a Voice Message! Make sure you have your microphone pre-installed and configured (Settings > Device) to use this feature.

Is Table Chat available on all game tables?

We offer Table Chat for all game types such as Hold'em, Omaha, AoF, Short Deck, Rush & Cash, Spin & Gold, and Chinese Hold'em.

It is available not only to players playing at the table, but observers are also able to use the Table Chat.

The option to hide the chat of observers is available if it is distracting you.

Deal Choice

Deal Choice

Want to run it once? Twice? Three times? It's your choice! Play the board out up to three times when you’re all-in - if both players agree, you can opt to run it Two or Three times with cards left to come, creating different outcomes and different pots.

Deal Choice

Deal Choice is a feature which allows the Underdog to slightly increase their odds of winning when they are in a losing all-in situation and also makes the game more exciting.

During an all-in situation, the Underdog will be able to select one of the following: Run It Once, Run It Twice, Run It Three Times.

Run It Twice (RIT) or Run It Three Times (RITT) allows players to have the remaining board cards dealt two or three times when two players both go all-in. The amount in the pot is also split into two or three different amounts to be played out to different boards.

E.g. run the board three times to lower your risk when you are All-In.

This option is available when the following criteria are met:

  • Only two players are left in the hand

  • One of the players has called the other player’s “all-in”, so no more betting action can be taken

  • The player's odds of winning is below 50%

  • There must be more community cards to be dealt

Once these criteria are met, both players must agree to the Deal Choice.

As you can see, it’s simply having the total pot split into two/three with two/three different outcomes possible from the point RITT was agreed upon. One-third of the total pot will be awarded to the winner of each of the two/three hands dealt, all of which use different community cards (the number of which depends on when RITT was accepted).

Deal Choice is a great way to reduce the variance in a game you’re really enjoying while still experiencing the spine-tingling thrill of going all-in. Omaha Deal Choice is unique to Natural8.

Showdown

A Showdown occurs automatically when:

  • all players involved in the pot go all-in

  • all betting has been completed on the river

A Showdown will proceed in the following order:

  • the last person to bet will open one's cards first

  • then each person will open one's cards going in a clockwise direction

  • when no betting has occurred, the opening of cards will go in a clockwise direction starting with the small blind

Raise the excitement level by revealing your cards (and bluffs!) once the hand has ended. Choose what to show and what to conceal to control your table image and put your opponents on tilt.

Shout Out

Shout Out

Shout Out your outs! Shout Out the cards you need to win the hand and they will be displayed beside your avatar for the entire table to see, further adding to the thrills. Hit the cards you need and watch your opponent tilt as you take down the pot.

Like our Texas Hold’em Shout Out function, which allows you to loudly declare to your opponents the cards you need to win the pot.

  • The option will be activated on the river when there are only two players left on the table.

  • It cannot be cancelled once it has been made.

  • It will be cancelled automatically if the opponent raises and you will forfeit the pot.

  • Your hole cards will never be revealed.

With Chip Shuffle, you will be able to shuffle the chips while playing games. It will make your online poker experience almost like live poker!

Move the mouse wheel or tap on the screen of your mobile device to activate the chip shuffling animation. The animation will then sync with the movement of your mouse/finger for a full immersive experience.
